Lily took her first real steps on Uncle Karl's birthday, May 20. And while crawling is still her favourite mode of getting around she can be talked into trying to walk now too, especially if it is into Mama's arms. All those cute dresses and shoes I overbought for her - here we come!! :-)

We are Neil, Claudia, Finn and Lily - a Canadian, a German, and two dual citizens living in southern Germany. Neil is an engineer, Claudia is a stay-at-home mom (rarely home though ☺), and we have recently embarked on the adventure of short term/emergency foster parenting, something that, although certainly not easy, we find extremely rewarding and feel called to do.
