Fall fun - rain or shine

It seems I haven't updated in forever! Since my last post we've had dear visitors (my sister Ulli, our friends Martina and Martin), enjoyed some beautiful fall weather, Finn survived another pneumonia attack, we've all had colds of varying severity at some point, and my car got fixed! (Although that cost us dearly.)

Here are some pictures of Finn and Lily playing at the little park near our house the other day:

Running circles in the leaves

They were playing "leopards" here - daddy leopard and baby leopard.

When Martina was here she said that Finn really reminds her of Karl now. In this pic I can see it, too! Same great smile, no?

If we let her Lily would climb up and down those steps all day. She just loves it!

It's hard to see because of the background, but Lily's hair is getting quite long and curly in the back. It has gotten so much lighter too since she was born!

Yesterday we collected lots of acorns around our house and today we went to feed them to the wild pigs at the wildlife park. It was raining, but that couldn't stop us! The kids and Mama had a great time, and Papa was at least a good sport about it :-)

After repeated shouts of "hello hello" didn't result in the pigs scaling the fence Lily decided to climb it. She never made it any higher, though, because she got distracted by the wire tasting so good. (Eew!)

Due to the fact that they were wearing rubber boots and we were not it was VERY hard to get the kids out of this nice big puddle and into the car again.

Okay, that's it for today. By the way, why doesn't anyone ever leave a comment? (Except for faithful old Uncle Otto, that is.) I'm pretty sure more (enthusiastic, you-have-the-cutest-kids-ever kind of) comments would motivate me to update more regularly. C'mon you guys, I know you are all reading this! :-)
